HAPA Hawaiian Spirits
HAPA means part Hawaiian. We proudly use it to label our Hawaiian rums and vodkas created by blending, the last step of the distilled spirits making process, and the secret of exceptional spirits.
Blending is an art form, and our Master Blender combines our Hawaiian spirits with the best spirits in the world to create a masterpiece.

OKOLEHAO
Heritage
In Hawaii, alcohol was first made by English sailors as a beer from fermented roots of the ti plant in the 1780’s. In 1790 an escaped Australian convict brought distillation to Hawaii, using the ti root beer to produce Hawaii’s only indigenous spirit, okolehao. Hawaiians soon added sugarcane to the recipe, softening and improving the flavor. By King Kalakaua’s time, okolehao was prized as a royal libation literally fit for a king. Hawaiian Okolehao is the successful recreation of this Royal Spirit.
